The movies I watched these days

I'm going to introduce you the movie I watched recently . Usually , I write it pretty long , but , today , I wanna write briefly , and , I'm gonna introduce you a lot .

1 . DO THE RIGHT THING

This movie was directed by Spike Lee . And , as you know , the movie directed by Spike Lee is really serious . Two years ago , I watched " Malcolm X " , that is considered the best movie he has made , and I strongly felt it was quite hard for me to understand " Black Culture " . And , I also felt the same feeling as that time . I think the one of the biggest reason is that I was born in Japan , and lead almost my life in Japan , so it is pretty difficult to realize the situation .

This movie is about the racism . It's depicted the serious conflict between Black and Itarin in NY . And , in my opinion , I felt that this movie describe the Black , like , they cannot endure something and tend to use the physical power to solve the problem .

In the last scene , the main charactor ( played by Spike Lee ) threw the grabage can to the Italian's house , and , makes the viewer think whether he " DOES THE RIGHT THING " or not . And , for me , it is quite hard to tell . Please watch this movie and think about it .

2 . COLORS

This movie's main charactor was played by Sean Penn , and this could be considered the best movie play by Sean Pen ( or , " DEAD MAN WALKING" might be the best ) . But , honestly , I think this movie is not as good as I expected. Some police who is a rookie and played by Sean Penn was young and energetic , so he tended to use the violence to solve the problem in LA , especially , the problem made by the gang , but his boss pointed out to him not to use it , and , this kind of communication is main point in this movie .

3. SE7EN

This movie is really about the christianity . The main caster is Brad Pidd and Morgan Friedman .

" SE7En " ( seven ) means the SIN ( " sin " is God's law ) people are not suppose to do . And that's highly related to Christianty . I think my knowledge of Christianity is not so bad , compared to the average Japanese , but , that is so terrible , compared to the people living in north america . And that means I feel kind of difficult whenever I watch the movie about this kind of topic .

These are the sin people are not suppose to do , according to Christianity .

"Gluttony" , " Greed " , "Sloth", "Lust", "Pride" , "Envy" , "Wrath"

How many words do you know ? I only hadn't known " Gluttony " . How about " Wrath " ? You should remember the famous book called " The grapes of wrath " written by John Steinbeck .

Like this , this movie is quite good for your English . And , actually , Brad Pitt used a lot of swear words in this movie , and the vocabulary is quite useful , although you'll never see that words in TOEIC or TOEFL .

This movie is quite good for English , but , the problem is the story of this movie itself is pretty simple . The murderer who seemed kind of evangical could not stand the current society , because so many people do the thing they are not suppose to do . So he killed the people who broke the God's law step by step , and the police played by Brad Pitt tried to stop him .

I wanted to write about the abortion , using this movie , but I've changed my mind . The abortion is so hard topic , so this movie is not good to discuss . However , you should know the abortion is considered the serious sin in the north america , especially among the Cathric . And I strongly recommend you to read " CIDER HOUSE RULE " written by John Irving to consider the problem.

4 . LOST IN TRANSLATION

My friend said to my this movie is the movie for watching Scarlett Johansson ,but I don't think so . This movie would be quite interesting .

Please take a look at this scene . For me , this scene is so interesting . This woman confused " RIP " and " LIP " , and " lip my stocking " doesn't make any sense . Because of her action , he knew what " lip my stocking " means , and he pronunciated " RIP them " , right ?

By the way , can you feel the difference between " lip " and "rip ? To be honest , I cannot feel any difference , and I personally believe the people who study English seriously after 20 year old cannot realize the difference between " R " and "L " . Of course , to pronunciate " R " and "L " is not hard , but , to understand the difference is really hard .

But you don't have to worry about it , because the context will help you to understand the difference , like , in that context , people are suppose to use " rip " instead of " lip " , so you can guess it , right ?

This scene is also funny . Oh my ... please Fujii Takashi ...What the hell are you doing ? he seems asshole , eh ...

This scene is also funny , right ? The tranlator's English sucks , right ? And , you can feel the difference between western culture and Japanese culture .

Oh .. I gotta go . I'm gonna write the detail about this scene .
